These areas include commercial properties, homeowners associations, municipalities, sports fields, and developer mitigation projects. Our goal is to take the day to day hassles out of managing your landscapes by offering a variety of services and developing long term relationships with you. We currently service shopping centers, industrials, office buildings, apartments, & concert venues. Homeowners Associations We currently maintain landscapes for over 1,000 units in various homeowners associations through out the county. We provide each HOA, board of directors, and managers, with a service that is required by the landscape and that works with their respective budget. We walk your property with you on a regularly scheduled basis to provide suggestions for improvements and address extra work items. We then follow through with timely completion of any noted items and concerns. Municipalities We currently contract extensively with the cities of Chula Vista and San Diego for a variety of landscape projects. They include neighborhood parks, sports fields, right-of-ways and median landscaping along major roads and boulevards. One of our most rewarding municipal projects is The First San Diego River Improvement Project (FSDRIP) in Mission Valley. This unique mitigation site is designed to return the San Diego River to a natural habitat that supports it’s own ecosystem while at the same time provides for public use. Mitigation Maintenance Mitigation projects are a growing concern for developers, land planners and municipalities, which require specialized attention. BSLM recognizes the importance of mitigating the effects of ongoing development in the San Diego area. Our familiarity with native plant materials and their requirements played a large role in the success of the First San Diego River Improvement Project, one of the largest mitigation sites in San Diego. Sports Turf Management We have the expertise and equipment to maintain athletic fields of all kinds and sizes. We have large scale aeration, renovation, mowing, and fertilization equipment required for this type of work. Remedial/Upgrade Work We have the ability to perform remedial upgrading on all our properties. We replant annual color beds as planned and budgets allow. Old areas of landscape can also be upgraded with shrubs, trees, sod and irrigation systems. An upgrade of importance now is the changing of outdated irrigation controllers to the new water efficient or “ET” controllers. Installing these controllers will help to reduce the water usage on your property. Tree Trimming We currently have tree trimmers that we recommend to our clients. These companies are competitive in their pricing and give our jobs scheduling priority.
